Color Guess Master is a color-training game. We try to keep data collection minimal. Here's everything that leaves your device:
When you complete a daily puzzle or a Color Hunt, your display name (the mascot name you set in Profile) and your score are written to our backend (Google Firebase Firestore) so they can appear on the public scoreboard. You can change your display name any time in the Me tab. We don't store your real name unless you type it in.
The first time you launch the app, Firebase Authentication assigns an anonymous account ID. This lets your data sync across your own devices when iCloud is available. The ID is not linked to an email, phone number, or any contact info.
If you buy "Remove Ads," Apple's StoreKit handles the transaction. We never see your payment details. We only store a local flag that says "ad-free: yes" so we know to hide the ads.
We show interstitial ads from Google AdMob. To deliver these, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), approximate location, and other diagnostic information.
The Color Hunt feature uses your camera to sample real-world colors. Camera frames are processed entirely on-device — we never upload them.
If you choose to import a photo from your library, the same applies. Photos are only saved to your camera roll if you tap "save" on a share
card.
Streak count, settings, daily-puzzle results, and ad frequency-cap state are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and SwiftData. This data does not leave your device unless you participate in the public scoreboard (above).
